Welcome to my itch page. Here, you will find my various Game Jam submissions, as well as any of my independent development projects. Have fun!
Zombie Maze - My capstone project from college. It was my most involved project, and my first attempt at procedural level generation. The basic principles are based on Darius Kazemi's article on the same topic.
Oh Yeah Professor! - Probably my favorite of my projects. This was my final Game Jam as part of my student organization. I used the procedural techniques from the zombie maze above and really tried to focus on some of the polish I don't usually take time for in jams. The audio feedback was a personal highlight, the game still brings a smile to my face.
Soul Chain - My first ever game project. I created it for GMTK Jam 2017. I had fun coming up with the core concept, I only wish I could have made the mechanics of the chain more engaging.
W.ar of A. S.ad D.espot - My submission to the first Game Jam hosted on Salisbury University's campus. Special thanks to the Art Department and the Computer Science department for supporting our idea to host this crazy event. The big thing I wanted to play with here was creating multiple playable characters that felt somewhat different. However, if I were to revisit the project, it's clear that they are not at all balanced.
Guide Thine Sword - For this Game Jam project, I wanted to find new ways to teach the player mechanics without being explicit. I also took the time to practice my pixel art and animation in Game Maker Studio.
Robot Desert Disco Deflector Rave - The biggest challenge with this project was trying to fit the theme of the Jam. We tried to create a bullet-hell where your main way of defeating enemies was by deflecting bullets back, pong style. I think it's the least intuitive of my Jam projects but I still look fondly on the weekend spent developing it.
